INDIVIDUAL ABUSE OF HUMANS

Individual abuse of humans by humans is a phenomenon that is present in almost every
country of the world. This category includes: raping, woman abuse, killing,
bullying and many more social problems. As an example, America is the country
where bullying is most practicated. In an American highschool, 1 student over 3
is victim of a bully during the 4 years of highschool. It is a rather negative
point of discussion, becuase the situation has been degenerating over the last
10 years, as the American newspaper “The New York Times” sustains in an article
of 2011. Bullying doesn’t appear only as a physical abuse, but people can be
bullyied also verbally, using insults.
In Italy the situation is not very different, also here students are
bullyied, but the physical form of abuse is not so diffused as it is in
America. As the American newspaper “National Herald Tribune” explains, the
Emirates is the most secure country, less than 50 kills per year! But why? Because
of the strict law system, in the Emirates even if you steal, the law says: a
hand of the stealer will be chopped, the second time the person steals, the
other hand will be chopped off him, the third time, the person will be killed.
In Italy the situation is lightly different, if a stealer is
caught by the police, the person will have to attend only a couple of weeks in
jail, if the crime is serious, otherwise the person committing the crime can
solve evrything paying money for his or her freedom. I think this is a rather serious
point of discrepancy concearning the Italian law sistem, as a result, some
changes should be done…

In addition, I even think that bullies mostly prefer victims belonging to a minority or minor ethnic groups, as a typical example, in the United States, students not coming from America are often bullied from older American students, or if they are fortunate, they are alienated from the scholar society of students. This is an awkward and horrible situation, that has grown through the years because of people's ignorance and violence, and without doubt, this phenomenon has to end.
RispondiEliminaBullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. The one who got bullied may have hurt not only physically but also mentally. Can you suggest some changes? Or some protection ?
RispondiEliminaIn my opinion, some changes can be done. As an example, schools should adopt the philosophy "tolerance zero" for bullies; in other words, as soon as a bully is caught bullying another student, he or she shuold be expelled from the school.
RispondiEliminaBullying behavior could may seem rather insignificant compared to students bringing guns to School and getting druged by smoking weed or other stronger drugs sometimes it is dismissed as part of growing up. Bullies before the age of 30 will have 100% criminal record. People have to think of bullying as a crime that will ne punished.
RispondiEliminaBullying still exists because the society gives the opportunity to have this problem. It must be prevented and if the only way to do it is by using exaggerated rules, it must be done. As a conclusion, this is an effect of the governmental instability.
