Gay Marriage

In the past few years, a new issue has been considered: gay marriage!
Just as heterosexuals can, homosexuals would like to marry. It is now more or less 5 years that "gay" people have been revolting against the state to achieve their goal. Unfortunately, December the 7th of 2013, these revolts turned into a complete disaster as the United States Court entered the national debate on same-sex marriage and denied the possibility of unifying between two people of equal sex.
In an open-minded society, nothing similar should be denied. The decisions taken from a gay couple (man with man or woman with woman), just as in a "normal" couple, which in 2013 are free, as humans, to do anything they'd like to, are strictly personal. This means that if their desire is to join in one family, they may not be hampered.
Even though the denial of the past year, with the help of important networks and societies as Google, Groupon, Morningstar, Navistar International and Excelon, who signed a public letter against the Illinois government, debating versus gay marriage, which stated:
"to be competitive, a state must create an equitable, fair and respectful environment for all of its citizens. For this reason it is vitally important that Illinois lawmakers enact marriage equality soon."
Everyday, more and more humans come up to be homosexual, for this reason we must accept everyone as we all are the same.

  1. The November elections in the United States increased the number of states that allow same-sex marriages by half--up to nine--ncluding my home-state, Maryland! Even though there are many people who disagree with same-sex marriage, I think it is very important that it is an issue being discussed and recognized. Only through discussion and communication can we reach understanding. Interesting post, richyrich!

  2. I think that Gay people have the right to been married even if I don't understand the difference between the marriage and beeing a couple. Opening another topic on Gay people we have to coonsider even the adoptions problem that I don't support firmly, because the adopted child will have future physological problems, not having a "coommen" family.

  3. I think gay's have the right to marry each other, because they are human beings just as heterosexuals are, as a result the same should be concessed even to them. In contrast though, I disagree with the fact that a gay couple adopts children. I disagree because in this way, the child will grow up without a feminil figure:the mother.

  4. The problem of adoption is not always relative for three main reasons: first of all it isn't necessary for a homosexual couple to have a baby, secondly, with love and courage the child could also grow up sane, and last but not least, everybody has the right to have a family. In addition, the female figure could be represented by a family member such as the aunt or the grandmother, just as people who lost their mother do.

  5. I am pro for gay marriage because i think that people who are against it are close minded. The 21st century is made of open minded people. that is why gay marriage is being allowed in more and more countries. Although i don't agree completely with adoption to gay couples because i still think that a child should grow in a natural environment with a female and a male figure.

  6. In my opinion, they have their right to get married. Everyone has their own equal right. It is unfair for them. People should be more open minded and support thisWhy should one human be allowed to do something and another not ? We all have one life, we all want to be happy, we all want to love and be loved, we all want to be equal!

  7. I agree with both Jeff and Martina. Our society has evolved, therefore we should have no type of discriminations. Gay people should have the opportunity to marry and have their own family because there is no difference between homosexuals and heterosexuals if not the sexual preferences.
