The planet is warming, everywhere.
Over the last 100 years the temperature already raised up more than 0.8 degree
Celsius. The temperature raised even more in sensitive Polar Regions. By global
warming we don't talk only about change in temperature over time but about the
climate that is changing drastically these changes are occurring to our
environment, atmosphere and weather. They’re happening right now; storms,
winds, rains, floods, droughts, new diseases... Signs are appearing all over,
and some of them are surprising. This statistic will never stop rising if there
is not a change in human pollution (ex. Factories, consumption of energy…) and
on earth’s releasing gases like carbon dioxide and methane. Scientists are
doing the possible to stop these pollution only that there are Nation that are
not collaborating to stop pollution, but are only increasing it. An example of
something happening right now is the high abnormal temperature that is not only
melting glaciers and sea ice; it’s also shifting precipitation patterns and
setting animals on the move, destroying the entire ecosystem.
Some impacts from increasing
temperatures are already happening.
· Ice is melting
· Sea level rise
· Animals are moving to find cooler places.
· Precipitation has increased.
Other effects could happen later
this century, if warming continues.
· Sea levels are expected to rise even more leaving many
countries under the sea level.
· Hurricanes and other storms are likely to become more
frequently and stronger.
· Floods and droughts will become more common.
· Less fresh water will be available.
· More diseases.
· Ecosystems will have a drastic change.
I find it interesting and commendable that the first issue you've addressed is Global Warming. As you explained, this is terribly critical for the population of the earth in the coming 50 years.
RispondiEliminaGlobal warming is a silent and slow disease killing our ecosystem and earth. It is a terrible shock to know that there are some nations that still pollute regardless their requested collaboration. The current cycle of global warming is changing the rhythms of climate that all living things have come to rely upon. Although Global Warming is an issues quite known globally and still very low is being done. What will happen 10 yeas from now? What will happen 50 years from now? Will the human kind be still around, will it adapt, or simply will it stop killing the earth. Jeff t.W

RispondiEliminaDrastic solutions must be taken. First of all pollution has to be reduced. Hybrid cars, less consumption and attention for the environment are three little changes that would have a great influence over the world. this issue must be stopped in time before, it will have great negative effects over the world we live in.
