One
of the most interesting topics that is very discussed today is the usage of
doping substances in sport competitions. Doping is the worse type of cheating.
Unfortunately, since always, athletes prefer to cheat in contests taking these
drugs rather than winning honestly. As a matter of fact, analyzing the
statistics of the last Olympic games held in London this year, at least one
athlete in every contest was under the effect of the doping drug! Doping can be taken in every
possible sport; from boxing to running, from golf to rifle shooting, in a few
words, doping is so diffused in sports, that even today it is difficult to
recognize an athlete under the effect of doping substances, because this drug
can be hidden easily by drinking a lot of water and milk before the verifying
tests or by different techniques of dissimulation. At this point I ask myself:
What’s the point in winning a medal if it’s not earned honestly? Well, many
athletes, such as Lence Armstrong (famous biker, has admitted two weeks ago
that all the competitions that he has won were because of doping substances
hidden very well) prefer “improper” fame rather than fighting honestly with all
the human forces to gain success and therefore win a competition. This
phenomenon of doping usage has to stop, otherwise, anyone could beat a world
record, anyone with a minimum of athletic preparation could win an a gold medal
at the Olympics thanks to doping (if hidden well).

EliminaDefinitely sad but true. :(
RispondiEliminaResearching through internet, I read that everyday people try new doping drugs to pass the test and become more stronger. Is there a way to stop this bad habit? Why do you think people prefer to win instead of having a clean conscience?
RispondiEliminaIt is very sad to hear quite frequently about doping in sports. To cheer and appreciate an athlete who wins a competition and then realize that it was only because of doping. Doping is one of the darkest chapter in sports history. There are always new drugs that are stronger and less visible, and therefore always more fake champions.
RispondiEliminaIt is horrible that still today the world is manipulated and dishonest. Is there something more beautiful than win after a hard period of constant practice? This people will never know if they continue like this. Some stronger preventions must be taken!
RispondiEliminaThis is very bad. Because it is contrary to the spirit of the Olympic Games. It is so sad for these players try to take doping drugs to win the games, they play spots for winning the game to enjoy to play itself. Nowadays, Olympic Games actually are becoming the doping drugs testing game. For example, when a new face player wins a champion of a competition. People don't congratulate him first, but questioning him about taking doping or not. Even he passes the doping test. It becomes a reason to every player who wins the champion be questioned when people think they are not possible to win. Because of that the games always end with the sad atmosphere. Are the doping takers really have a clear conscience?
